Big Wednesday

The inspiration for "Big Wednesday" comes from my admiration for the stripped down, bare-bones Black choppers built by Russell Mitchell at Exile Cycles, and the classic Woodie Surf Wagons.

Therefore this bike has nothing that is not essential to the purpose of going down the road and looking good.

The frame was designed to try and capture the classic curved lines of the 1940's and 50's Woodies but at the same time be as minimalist as possible. The wood inserts echo the Woodies of course, while the wave cut out is both decorative and functional, cutting down on the overall weight of the bike.

The name comes from the classic 1978 Surf Movie of the same name and seemed to fit the bike well as believe me this bike is Big!
